How to Apply Flea & Tick Topical Treatments

Read Time:50 Second

Applying Flea & Tick Topical medication is safe and easy if done correctly and application is the same between a dog and a cat. Most topical applicators are very similar visually and functionally. When opening the topical applicator, make sure it is upright and away from your face. Make sure your dog is calm and have them either stand or lay down.

Instructions:
1) Part the hair behind the neck and apply the full dosage directly onto the skin and not the coat.

2) Keep the applicator squeezed until it is away from the skin to prevent some of the topical from getting sucked back into the applicator.

3) This ensures that your pet does not try to lick off the topical after application

4) Then reward your dog with a treat and keep them away from other pets until the topical has dried.
